Tendon diseases

Wrong posture or permanent strain, for example in very demanding sports, can lead to overstraining of the tendons in the most varied regions of the body.

Important helper for the locomotory system

In our orthopaedic practice, we are confronted with acute tendon injuries and chronic tendon diseases: Impingement syndrome on the shoulder, tendinitis, achillodynia and tennis elbow. The tendons in the region of the shoulder or elbow joint are frequently affected in this case.

Therapy options with diseases of the tendon

  • targeted injections to combat pain and inflammation;
  • bioregenerative methods such as Autohaemotherapy;
  • shock wave therapy;
  • bandages or splints that relieve the irritated tissue of the tendons so that it can calm down and stop hurting.
