Targeted physical methods - known as conservative measures - can often prevent surgery. We support your own body's ability in order to sustainably strengthen joints and muscles. This way, damage does not progress, and it will be easier to return to your old life following the injury.
Arthrosis Therapy: Arthrosis (the deterioration of the joints) represents an increasingly growing pattern of disease and is caused by genetic factors, excess weight, lack of exercise, stress at work and overexertion in the course of recreational activities. While treating arthrosis, we work with injections of hyaluronic acid in order to protect and preserve the still existing articular cartilage, but we also apply anti-interleukin-1 therapy, an innovative procedure which activates the body's own proteins. This is combined with modern physical methods of therapy as well as analyses of walking and running.
Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis refers to loss of calcium carbonate and a decrease in bone density. The results are bone and vertebral fractures which are often extremely painful. An early measurement of bone density (osteodensiometry) can prevent osteoporosis or detect it in time to treat it. At the Jägerwinkel Private Clinic, we perform a quantitative measurement by means of computer tomography. This is followed by specific laboratory diagnostics. Based on these results, we provide our patients with an individual therapy program.
