Only the Best for Your Heart

Our team and its many years of experience in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease is at your side. Our aim is to deliver modern medical services at the highest level - especially in the area of what is known as non-invasive imaging.

At the center of this is magnetic resonance imaging (MIT) of the heart (Cardio-Magnetic Resonance Tomography). This provides a method for an exact analysis of the pumping function - but also the blood supply - of the myocardium, the cardiac muscle. This so-called computed tomography of the heart (Cardio-Computer tomography) represents an anatomic procedure which enables us to produce a high-quality image of your coronary blood vessels. Our aim is to circumvent a cardiac catheterization. Only when the results of the described examination are pathologic might there be need for an invasive examination (cardiac catheterization).

In spite of modern high-tech medicine, personal closeness to our patients is especially important to us. We take the time to talk to our patients and their families and counsel them in depth, while we make therapeutic decisions. On the one hand, our concept of therapy draws on today's state-of-the-art options of modern cardiology – and on the other, it also responds to the legitimate desire of our patients for individual care.

Cardiac Catheterization*

This procedure examines the heart and coronary blood vessels with the help of x-rays. The purpose is to diagnose pathological constrictions, vasoconstrictions, of the coronary blood vessels. In case there is a stenosis, we are able to open up this constriction during the same session and, if need be, also supply it with a stent, an artificial, supportive tube.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the Heart*

Recent years have seen rapid progress in the area of imaging procedures. A good example for this is the Cardio-Magnetic Resonance Tomography (Magnetic Resonance Tomography). This method enables us to create a high-resolution image for an examination of the cardiac muscle's function and blood circulation - and also of the cardiac muscle's tissue itself. This procedure offers the most precise non-invasive examination of the heart.

Computer Tomography of the Hear

With this modern x-ray procedure, we create the finest tomography – (0.5 mm). Contrary to calcium carbonate analysis via Computer tomography, this method uses contrast mediums. This way, the coronary blood vessels and their vascular walls can be optimally depicted with very high resolution. This method aims at avoiding cardiac catheterization (which would be invasive) and other physically intrusive measures.
