Ayurveda is a more than 6000-years old holistic medical system, a health care philosophy and - more importantly - mankind’s eldest medical concept ever, recorded in written form - the Vedas - a very long time ago.

This approach puts equal weight on the human body, mind and soul.

The Sanskrit word „ayus“ means ‘life’, and „veda“ stands for ‘knowledge’. Thus, Ayurveda is the “Knowledge of Life“.

It has always been aimed at the aspect of prevention, the preservation of health, the organism’s regeneration and people’s lifestyle.

How does Ayurvedic massage influence our organism?

Ayurvedic massage influences the body's three circulatory systems: Our blood circulation, the nervous system and the lymphatic system. Its strongest impact affects the latter. An increased lymphatic flow reduces blood pressure, tensions and pain. In addition, the massage effects natural breathing, increases the number of amino acids (protein building blocks) and reduces histamines (a type of cytokine or hormone in the tissue).

In addition, Ayurvedic massage has a significant and positive influence on the vegetative nervous system - an important aspect in view of today's fast-paced world, as many are often burnt-out and feel they can no longer perform or that their capacities have been diminished.
